SUMMER READS VISTA Reading Adventures with Fairmont CER June 20 – August 4, 2022 Open to Youth entering Kindergarten to Grade 6 Would you like your child to have FREE reading help during June and July? This program is offered through Fairmont Community Education and Recreation in cooperation with the Literacy Minnesota and AmeriCorps Summer Reads VISTA. One-to-one tutoring and small group activities with trained AmeriCorps VISTA workers will be a part of this seven-week program with students attending two sessions each week, approximately 50-60 minutes per session. Priority will be given to youth able to attend regularly for the full program. 30 minutes of one-to-one reading time, 20 minutes of small group time and free books to promote reading for fun and lifelog learning will also be included. On-site Sessions will be held at CER in the Southern MN Education Campus. Scheduling is done on a first come, first served basis. Forms need to be dropped off at CER For more information, please contact Stephanie at the CER Office (507-235-3141.) Or stop into our office, 115 South Park Street, suite 131, to grab a form and fill it out. Each form is time stamped and dated. Registration is based on how forms are turned in.
