It was a great April Family Fun Night last night!! To clarify, we do have a May Family Fun Night so we hope you can make it then too. The May Family Fun Night will be the last one held at the school, but we will continue doing our summer Family Fun Nights at Cedar Creek Park.

ACE (Area Career Exploration) was here at Fairmont High School for all area schools. The mission of ACE is to inform students of area career opportunities and provide them knowledge that quality of life and financial stability are available right here in Southern Minnesota.

Activities Director, Mat Mahoney, recognized this year's Triple A winners at the April 11 school board meeting. Solveig Senf and Cooper Steuber are senior students who have excelled in the areas of Academics, Athletics, and the Arts throughout their high school careers. Following graduation, Solveig will be attending St. Olaf College to study biology and economics and to play golf. Cooper plans to attend South Dakota State University and complete studies to become a nurse practitioner.

At last night's school board meeting, high school spring play director, Sara Gudahl, shared information about the upcoming production of "Alibies." Alibies is a "Who Done It" mystery that will be performed on Saturday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Thirty-six students are involved in this performance . Five of those students were present at the meeting and shared some highlights about the role they play: Morgan Martinson, Jaelynn Pierce, Megan Wheeler, Lauren Wheeler, Kira Murphy.
