Congratulations to Wendi Tonder, Teacher of the Year!
We are proud to recognize Wendi Tonder as this year’s Teacher of the Year! Wendi’s passion for education shines through her dedication to students, colleagues, and the community. As a junior high teacher, she inspires students with hands-on learning in life skills such as cooking, sewing, personal finance, and good citizenship. Through her innovative Cadet Teaching program, Wendi mentors aspiring educators, providing real-world teaching experiences that shape future leaders.
Beyond her classroom, Wendi’s leadership, creativity, and collaboration with colleagues and community members make her an invaluable role model. Her creation of the FACS Squad has fostered meaningful connections and enriched countless lives. Wendi’s commitment to excellence embodies the heart of education, and we are honored to celebrate her extraordinary contributions!
