As we prepare for the upcoming school year, the Fairmont Area School District is committed to providing our students, staff, families and community with the best possible learning experience. As we receive and process planning information provided by our governing bodies, our number one priority will always be the overall health and safety of our children, staff, and community. On July 28th, the MN Department of Health released their Best Practice Recommendations for COVID-19 Prevention in Schools for the 2021-2022 School Year. This updated information outlines prevention strategies, masking guidance, physical distancing guidance, and contact tracing parameters. Upon receipt of this information, we have begun analyzing the provided information and its implications for our planning processes. We will continue to provide updates related to our learning plan in the coming weeks as we finalize details for the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you for your continued support of Fairmont Area Schools. Go Cardinals!
