About Me:

I graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato in December 2012 with a degree in Human Biology. I worked in the private sector as quality assurance in food processing and a lab technician for Big Pharma for a few years. I eventually felt called to Education and worked for Americorps for two years in the LEAP program teaching social-emotional skills to preschool age children. After Americorps, I started attending Bemidji State University's Fastrack teaching licensure program and became licensed to teach science in January 2023. I have long-term and short-term subbed for Saint James, Butterfield, and Lake Crystal prior to this position. I look forward to teaching Earth Science at Fairmont as it is an area of interest for me.
