When reading Skyward, you will find that each of the Power Standards is listed. Students will receive scores from 1 to 4 for each of the summative assessments they complete for each Power Standard. The description of the event will indicate what the assignment was, with the details providing information on exactly what the standard is asking students to be proficient in. Please ask your child or email me if you have questions about what exactly that particular assessment was. Also, remember to expect early scores to be lower, as students will show growth and repeat work in each of these standards over the course of the school year. Scores of 2 and below indicate that your child has not yet met grade level expectations for that standard assessment and it will be flagged as "missing" until revisions are made and (s)he/they can demonstrate such understanding. In addition, any assessments that have an asterisk (*) in Skyward will also be flagged as missing - this indicates that an assessment has not been completed and/or turned in. Please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions or concerns about your child's current grade.
